Toyota Forced to Draw Back Its products Again; 17.000 Lexus Had Fuel Leak

Again, Toyota is in trouble. The Company’s largest car manufacturer in the world is again forced to withdraw one of its products. Toyota reportedly pulled from the market and temporarily restrains HS250h Lexus sales production in 2010. This hybrid model was drawn from the market after the discovery of potential problems on the fuel system, namely in the form of leaks. (6.28)

In his letter to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (National Highway Safety Administrator) in the U.S., Toyota has stated that the recall and suspension of sales of 17.000 units reached that all cars manufactured in the U.S.. This figure consists of 13.000 units have been sold and the remaining 4.000 units still in the dealership.

Interesting decision models are based by the U.S. government test results which showed leakage of fuel. This leak can trigger fires. Although willing to make the withdrawal and suspension of sales, Toyota argued that it has found same leakage during testing at the company. Until now, investigations have been made to determine the cause of the leak.

Toyota Has Natural Bulk Multiple Withdrawals
