I really wish they would do something about the condemned building at the end of the block. Its been abandoned for well over three years now and every time I drive by it looks like there was some sort of office war that had taken place. There are chairmats strewn about all over the place and the grass hasn’t been cut in years. I always see homeless people coming in and out there, so who knows what’s really going on inside of there. But the place has become such a health hazard and nuisance that some of the city politicians are starting to get complaints which they can no longer ignore.
I thought about this place today as I was buying a couple at the store. I wonder what happened to the place, because it wasn’t always like this. When I first moved in it was a thriving center of commerce and now was nothing more than a fire hazard. I guess the economy is touching all sectors of society in apparent and unseen ways, so hopefully things can change in the near future and America can get back on track, so that things like this can never happen again.
